D&AD

AD or Alzheimer’s Disease, is the most common form of dementia. Initial symptoms such as mood swings and confusion often go undiagnosed as they’re mistaken for general aging afflictions. As Alzheimer’s advances, sufferers can experience extreme memory loss, unable to recognize family, friends and even themselves.

These photographs are a selection from a recent D&AD project in which I used my lomographic camera, fisheye lens and multiple exposure to highlight the trauma of losing ones sense of being.
